Claire joined Duke Holzman in 2024. Prior to law school, Claire earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from SUNY Geneseo, gaining experience with financial statement analysis, tax preparation, and corporate accounting practices.

While attending the University at Buffalo School of Law, Claire served as the Business Editor for the Buffalo Law Review, interned with the Hon. John L. Sinatra, Jr. in the Western District of New York, and gained practical experience as a law clerk in the legal department of a locally headquartered public corporation.  Claire graduated magna cum laude from law school in the top 10% of her class and earned accolades for excellence in tax law and intellectual property law.

At Duke Holzman, Claire works on a variety of transactional matters, including: the purchase and sale of businesses, business succession planning, corporate governance, business entity formations, financing transactions, contracts, real estate agreements, estate planning, and estate administration.

Outside of her legal career, Claire enjoys sailing, horseback riding, skiing, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
